Progress

Thursday was my latest Dr.'s appointment and I made progress! Praise the Lord! I was 1 cm dilated and 75% effaced. Hopefully Logan will make his arrival soon. Chris & I are excitedly awaiting meeting our precious blessing! We do ask for your prayers on God's perfect timing and that everything go smoothly! God is so good and has blessed me beyond words this pregnancy. What a miracle a baby is and seeing the Lord grow this baby inside of me has been an amazing journey! We will keep you posted!

Today I went to the Dr and am not dilating yet. I am 37 weeks, which is considered full term. Everything is looking good, but Logan just isn't quite ready to make his arrival yet. Dr. Boyd will not let me go over a week past my due date so Dec 12 will be the latest that Logan could arrive. I can't believe in less than a month Chris & I will be parents & I'll be a MOMMY! How amazing! This will be the best gift I could ever receive. Chris has been amazing lately. He has taken such good care of me and is the most wonderful husband in the world. I could never ask for anyone better. The Lord knew what He was doing when he placed Chris in my life. I have been more than blessed with my pregnancy. We daily are so thankful for this creation that is inside of me and that will soon be here. What a miracle and blessing a baby is! I already have a love like no other for this baby, so I can't imagine holding him and the feelings, love, emotion, joy that we will feel! I will keep updates on here! Trying it out...

So I am new to the whole blogging thing, but I feel with the many changes about to occur in my life, I might as well try. I am almost 31 weeks pregnant with Chris' and my first child. It's a BOY and his name will be Logan! We cannot wait for his arrival. My due date is December 5, 2008! We live in Frisco, TX and love life! We feel so blessed! I am a Kindergarten Teacher for Frisco ISD at Bledsoe Elementary and have a WONDERFUL class full of 5 and 6 year olds. Chris is an Accounts Manager for Maxim Healthcare; he does staffing and recruiting for hospitals, medical facilities, etc around the Dallas area. I am very proud of him...he does such a wonderful job! We have been married for 2 years and about 4 months and marriage has been so great! I have the best husband ever and I love him more and more daily! My brother, Taylor is getting married February 21, 2009 to the love of his life, Ali. My Dad is getting sworn in as a District Judge, most likely in January 2009 and my Mom recently launched Pray with Purpose across the nation. So these next few months my family will be busy, but I know the Lord will watch over every step and they are all exciting and new events! My in laws, Phil and Edie, and my sister in law, Hailey, are wonderful as well and I am blessed to have them in my life.
